Chase Daniel will return to Missouri for his senior season
Chase Daniel will be back for a senior season at Missouri – and he will have company.
Missouri confirmed that all five juniors who had sought guidance from an NFL advisory committee will return for 2008. That includes Chase Daniel, the Southlake Carroll product who developed into a Heisman finalist. Also back: tight end Chase Coffman, safety William Moore, defensive tackle Ziggy Hood and defensive end Stryker Sulak.
The news almost certainly makes Missouri the favorite in the Big 12 North next season. The Tigers won the North in 2007 en route to a 12-2 record, an AT&T Cotton Bowl win over Arkansas and a No. 4 final AP ranking.
"It was a great process to go through for me, personally," Daniel said in a statement released by the school. "I think everyone is glad they got the feedback, and I know we're all excited about what's out there for us as a team next year. We know we can do some special things, and every one of us is committed to the team to work for those goals."
