New Orleans Saints' Jo-Lonn Dunbar praises Flint native Mark Ingram
New Orleans Saints linebacker Jo-Lunn Dunbar recently spoke highly of fellow teammate, rookie Mark Ingram of Flint.
Ingram, a Flint Southwestern grad and former University of Alabama star, was praised by Dunbar, who as a linebacker, recognizes a skilled running back when he sees one.
Although the interview was brief, Dunbar wasted little time describing Ingram's running style as "tough," saying Ingram's "low center of gravity" makes for a hard tackle.
Ingram is expected to be one of the NFL's top rookies in 2011, according to several media outlets and league analysts. Ingram has reportedly already impressed teammates during training camp, catching the attention of quarterback Drew Brees and other noteworthy members of the Saints.
